Centennial Foodservice Donates $10,000 to BC Wildfire Relief Efforts

KELOWNA, BC – (August 10, 2017) – Centennial Foodservice’s Kelowna and Prince George divisions are donating $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of those affected by the raging wildfires across British Columbia.
The fires have triggered a state of emergency across the province.
With their donation, Centennial intends to provide some immediate relief for the thousands of people who have been evacuated from their homes and communities. Other divisions are also making monetary or food donations to offer additional assistance to those in need.
“Centennial is very committed to the communities we operate in and view many of our customers as part of our extended family. We are very concerned about the challenges facing the communities in our trading areas in and around the Okanagan and South of Prince George. Our best wishes go out to those impacted and we are hopeful those impacted will recover quickly.”
…said David Carriere, President of Centennial Foodservice.
