Kelowna Based Linda Edgecombe, Hall of Fame Speaker is awarded the “Philanthropist of the Year Award" from the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
Linda is a well known Motivational Speaker and Author and an Expert of Resilient Living. She has been rescuing girls in Nepal for the past 10 years and fundraises every time she speaks.
Across North America, Linda is known as “The Scarf Lady” selling scarves at every meeting she speaks at. She shares the story of how her efforts of raising money has changed the lives of hundreds of girls and close to 1000 moms in Rural Nepal. The charity IWEN has grown over the past few years and volunteers from across Canada have joined in the efforts to educated girls and women in Nepal. Classrooms have been built, vocational centers constructed and bottom line empowerment. It’s a proud moment to be recognized by your peers.
