FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Let There Be Corn!
Sparkes Corn Barns to Open this Weekend in Kelowna and West Kelowna
After great success last year, the green and yellow corn barns are set to open this weekend for their second year. With five convenient locations in Kelowna and West Kelowna customers can easily grab their Triple Sweet cobs. The four locations in Kelowna, 1155 Highway 33 ( Shell Station), 1955 Enterprise Road (near Spall), 1180 Graham Street (and Clement) , 3995 Lakeshore (Mission Meats) and one in West Kelowna, 2454 Dobbin Road (Thrive Naturals) will be open from 10-6pm, seven days a week. Bring cash as no plastic is accepted.
Ian and Maria Sparkes take pride in their GMO-free corn which they grow on their family farm in Chilliwack. The corn is brought up to the Okanagan daily, and corn sold in the barns is fresh every day. Sparkes sweet corn is guaranteed to be sold at its prime and peak freshness and has customers coming back repeatedly. Manager Jacki Eng said, “When we were setting up yesterday we had many cars stopping to ask us if we were open. They were disappointed we weren’t open today but told us that they waited all year for our corn and were excited for this weekendâ€.
To make a large order for family BBQs, business events or other summer functions contact Holly Johnson at 778.581.2676, email [email protected] or stop by any of the five barns.
