All goals were surpassed as Aberdeen Hall students conducted a variety of activities in their annual ‘Toonies for Turkeys’ initiative to support the Kelowna Gospel Mission.
A series of student-led events including a week long toonie-drive and noon-hour carnival inspired enthusiastic participation in both the Junior and Senior schools.
A school-wide total of $1442 was raised for the annual initiative.
The donation will be delivered by the Gr. 8 students to the Kelowna Gospel Mission on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
