Fresh in Vancouver, With Some Okanagan Flavour

Coming soon to Main Street in Vancouver is Nomad, a new restaurant concept from Taylor Burnham, Scott Swanson, Ryan Reed and Matt van Dinther. The menu is a celebration of coastal ingredients but has some familiar Okanagan elements with Scott and Taylor having grown up together in West Kelowna while Vancouver Island product Ryan cut his culinary teeth alongside Scott at Kelowna's premier restaurant, Waterfront Wines. Also, while he grew up in Victoria, bar man Matt has filled his menu with wines from various Okanagan wineries and beer from Tree Brewing. Finally and just for good measure, Nomad's custom made tables come from pine beetle damaged trees harvested near Taylor's parents' home in Ellison.
