There’s MUCH ADO at The Villa!

July 14, 2014 (Kelowna, British Columbia) – After months of rehearsal, Shakespeare Kelowna is set for its July 16th opening night of “Much Ado About Nothing” at Okanagan Villa Estate Winery. The play marks Shakespeare Kelowna’s third season at The Villa.

“The anticipation of opening night is always filled with much energy and excitement as well as a few honest nerves,” comments Shakespeare Kelowna Director Stephen Jefferys. “Everyone involved in the play, from the actors to the production team as well as our hosts Wyn and Marion at Okanagan Villa Estate Winery are passionate about keeping the art of Shakespeare alive and developing a local appetite for one of the world’s most noteworthy playwrights. And Much Ado About Nothing, a fun romantic comedy, is a play that appeals to audiences of all ages. You don’t have to be a Shakespeare aficionado to enjoy Much Ado.”

The 2014 Season of Shakespeare at The Villa with William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” - presented by Castanet, runs from July 16-20 and 23-27 at Okanagan Villa Estate Winery’s open-air stage.

Tickets for Shakespeare Kelowna’s Shakespeare at The Villa performances of “Much Ado About Nothing”- presented by Castanet are on sale now for $25 at www.selectyourtickets.com. Tickets will also be available at the door on performance nights July 16-20 and 23-27, 7:00 p.m. at Okanagan Villa Estate Winery located at 3240 Pooley Rd. For guests wishing to dine prior to the play, Bellissimo Pizza will be available for sale from 5-6:30 pm at The Vibrant Vine Tasting Room.
