Comedy Night Featuring Just for Laughs Comedian Chris Gordon to Support Local Cancer Patients

Business Finders is collaborating with Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge and InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care to create a night of comic entertainment and wine tasting in support of local cancer patients.

Brent Marshall of Business Finders is proud to present Wine & Laughs for a Cause at Dakota’s Bar & Grill at 1574 Harvey Avenue on Saturday, May 21st, 2022. Highly acclaimed comedian Chris Gordon will be headlining the evening. A range of Okanagan wines will also be enjoyed – all in the name of supporting Kelowna’s community of cancer patients. The event will donate 100% of ticket sales to BC-based non-profit, InspireHealth.

InspireHealth is a Canadian leader in supportive cancer care, providing free classes and services to those living with cancer and their families. Patients have access to individual sessions with supportive care physicians and clinical counsellors, as well as free group classes with registered dietitians and exercise therapists. They can also participate in a series of daily programs such as the four-week series, Life Beyond Cancer. InspireHealth offers a variety of sessions including yoga, meditation, cooking classes, art therapy, and information sessions to vastly improve the patients’ quality of life. These services are available at InspireHealth centres in Vancouver, Victoria, and Kelowna, as well as online.

The fundraiser is a must-see event starring one of Canada’s top comedians, Chris Gordon. Chris is a standout comedian with performances at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, on CBC, and on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He will be performing on May 21st, for this show only, so don’t miss this opportunity to see Chris live in action.
