New York Fashion Week!

I'm back from New York Fashion Week, and I'm so excited to share all that I saw!

I attended fashion presentations, collections, and runway shows this year, and the fashion I saw was absolutely stunning. Viewing so many different shows allowed me to see the patterns and trends for the upcoming seasons, and I'm definitely seeing some themes. I'll highlight some of these in the coming weeks, but for now I'll leave you with a recap of some of my favourite shows from the week:
  • Former Stella McCartney designer Tsemaye Binitie’s buttery leather varsity jacket.
  • White powdered runway at the Katy Gallagher presentation at The Standard Hotel.
  • Southwest, cannabis and road tripping prints at the fun west-coast Clover Canyon show.
  • Bold paisley print at Clover Canyon (one of my absolute favorite shows.)
  • Mathieu Mirano’s sophomore collection was inspired by fossils, dinosaurs, and the Prehistoric era.
  • I was so pumped to attend Alice and Olivia’s mid-century set and 50′s inspired collection.
  • Reem Acra’s sparkling gown finale.
  • Plastic varsity jackets and athletic aesthetic were on display at Charlotte Ronson’s runway show.
  • The second time I was able to attend Walter Baker show, I wanted to have every single piece.
Stop by next week for a more in depth look at the designer collections I was able to preview as well as my forecast for what's to come next spring 2013!
