YOUNG, Jordan Patrick
July 2, 1992 - March 6, 2011

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jordan Patrick Young on March 6th, 2011 at Kelowna General
Hospital, Kelowna, British Columbia.

Born to Pat and Debby Young July 2nd, 1992 in Kamloops, British Columbia. Jordan began his education in Lloyd George Elementary School in Kamloops and completed his elementary education at Okanagan Landing School, Vernon. Attending Clarence Fulton High School, Jordan was an avid sports enthusiast playing all high school sports finally realizing his passion was volleyball. He played club volleyball for both Vernon and Kelowna earning him a scholarship to UBCO Men’s Heat Volleyball. Jordan loved snowboarding, beach volleyball and wake boarding.

Jordan was predeceased by his father, Pat Young, and uncle, Lee Phillips, of Calgary. Jordan leaves behind with broken hearts: his mother, Debby Young; step dad, Rod Kneller; sister and best friend, Alana
Young, and brother, Bryan Miller. Further cherishing his memory are his step sisters: Amy, Emma,Megan, Tami and Shauna and grandmother, Jan
Aiken, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Jordan’s Life will be held Monday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Vernon Alliance Church (2601 – 43rd Avenue, Vernon, BC) with Pastor
Brad Houghton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation in Jordan’s memory to the Jordan Young Memorial Award, (c/o Sharon DeVries, UBC Okanagan, 3333 University Way, Kelowna, BC V1V 1V7)
