So sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. We always enjoyed our visits with him & Aunt Connie. They were always very welcoming & made us feel special. On our last visit with them, we brought in Chinese food. He mentioned that his appetite wasn't what it used to be but managed to eat as much as me which was surprising as he certainly wasn't a large man. Sending love & prayers. Walt, Jan & Melanie

To Connie and family. Judy and Gary have contacted us to tell of the sad news of Bill's passing. Although we have talked to you a few times via phone the last few years, Connie, it has been a long while since seeing you and Bill. We have lovely memories of lots of wine and laughter and you and your family will have a million more to make you smile. We send warm hugs to you all. Love from Clayton and Heather Greenway

My condolences to Mrs Yochim, daughter Donna and sons Randy and Doug. Never met a more nicer set of parents than Bill and his wife Connie. Of course they were always Mr. and Mrs. Yochim to their kids friends coming to visit them at their home on Falkirk Rd. My sincere appreciation again for your kindness. Jeff Bryde

Hello from Roni Blacke Sullivan. I was very happy when Bill and Connie moved into SunPointe while I was working there. We got to talk about the earlier days when all was well. And the gatherings on our Raymer Rd place. Uncle Bill always brought juice for the kids and wine for the rest of us. Sad to read of Bill's passing - the last member of the Yochim kids. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Connie, Randy, Donna, Doug and family,

So sorry for your loss of Bill. I remember when we were neighbours on Patterson Ave., playing in your yard when your dad came home from work, he was always happy and joking and often with treats from Sun-Rype. He was also so proud and in love with his beautiful Connie, you could see it in his twinkling eyes. He was a lovely man, they just don't make them like him anymore.

    Warm regards, Barbie Roberts (Tucker)

So sad to hear the news. I have such wonderful memories! I remember the day we moved into the Glenmore house, Bill said now all you need is a dog. Next thing I knew I was in the car with him, down the road we went to the Culos house where they had a batch of puppies . I picked out my pup and named her Yoki in honour of Bill. Bill supplied all the wine for Mom & Dad's 25 th & I was lucky enough to find the extras which was my supply for bush parties as a teen ! La Scala Spumante was pretty uptown for a teenager ! Bill & Connie were among my parents dearest friends their whole life. I know Mom & Dad are welcoming Bill on the other side and by now they are sharing a glass of red wine and a story or two. Hugs to all of you. Bill was a class act, always.

Very sorry to hear Donna, and Doug. I have very nice memories of your home on Falkirk, and your parents then. In later years, I'd run into your Dad around Willow Park Mall, and he'd always have a smile and something nice to say.
