WOOD, Kathleen

WOOD, Kathleen (nee Geary) - Passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the age of 57.

Kathleen was taken too young and will be dearly missed by her family: her loving husband Alan Wood; two sons: Steve, Jeff (Mindy) of Edmonton; one grandchild Avery; three brothers: Robert (Lois), Barry (Linda), Brad (Lisa) and parents Lawrence and Myrtle Geary. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth Geary.

Her fight for life was valiant never complaining about her condition. She was my dear wife, friend, lover, and confidant. Kathleen will always be remembered for her great smile and attitude toward life.

A thank you to all her caring homecare workers, who were even not employed by her for years, still regularly visited her in hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4
