Obituaries

Born on April 25, 1928 in Carrot River, SK and passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on September 26, 2014 at the age of 86. Survived by her loving family, three children: George (Jill) and their children Cara and Travis, Sina Tycho and her son Jason, Rick (Jeri) and their sons Jordan and Braden; seven great grandchildren and two sisters. Predeceased by her husband Jim Weir in 2002. A private family memorial is being held to celebrate her life. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the nursing staff at Kelowna General Hospital, Strathcona Unit 4 West, for the excellent care they gave Florence.
