WATSON, Patricia Carla (Sue)
July 8, 1946 – September 18, 2011
It is with utmost sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sue. She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas (43 years), her parents Bob and Eileen and her sister Nan. She is survived by her children Carla, Shelley and Chad and her granddaughter Teanna, her siblings Bobbie (Gerry), Frank (Janice) and Dorothy, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Sue and Doug lived all over the west coast in logging camps and settled in Surrey for 18 years before moving to their cabin in Manning Park, where they had many dear friends. Sue was passionate about everything she undertook; whether it was prayer, alternative medicine, quilting (she has the fabric to prove it), Reiki massage, gardening, painting, and was a voracious reader. Sue was always willing to lend a hand. She made an impression with everyone she met-she was beautiful, spiritual, kind, fun hearted, vibrant, caring, generous, welcoming, and loving. She was an angel here on earth and she shone brightly.
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."
There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family at 2:00 PM, Friday, Sept 23rd at 2653 Springfield Rd, Kelowna. (There is no street parking, so please park on Gerstmar Road, Graham Road or Creekside Road. There is a path to the house off Kiniski Road).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
We love you Sue.
