  So sorry for your loss of Leighton. I was a classmate of his at Raymer Elementary. I remember when this dark haired handsome boy walked into the classroom, all of us girls were smitten. My condolences to his family at this very sad time.

  So long ago we stood together on a dusty field waiting for someone to hit a ball at us! I recall we laughed when we made a wee mistake, that others called errors! We also high fived on the great plays we made.
  
  Our hands never got very sore, but we did laugh a lot.

  So many memories of great shenanigans throughout high school and into our twenties. Everything always seemed just a bit more fun when Leighton was around, such a genuine person with one of the greatest laughs ever. It was so good to see him a few years ago at Hoskins.

  Words are so very hard to find at this time but my heart is heavy for the passing of Leighton. We met in grade 5 and were friends through high school with so many wonderful memories. We did connect a few years ago at my Moms with many of the old neighbor hood gang and his laugh and humour never changed. His struggles are over and may he be at peace and we will cherish our memories.

  So sad to hear of Leighton's passing. He was such a large help in me to learn to understand how to enjoy life in the Okanagan many years ago,with the great activities mentioned in his obituary. Last time I saw him I ran into him with his mom here in Kelowna many years ago. He was so proud of his family and it showed as he beamed as he spoke of you. So sorry for your loss.
