What can you say about a girl like Marjorie? My husband knew her as a student at St. John's College in Winnipeg where he was a little in awe of her position. She always spoke kindly of Winnipeg and reminded us that although winters are cold there, it was a "dry cold". We both got to know her better through the choir at St. Michael and All Angel's Cathedral in Kelowna. In the choir, she was affectionately known as the "Sargent-Major" and kept us all in line (sort of). She was an enthusiast for life, sharing her love of reading, music, volunteering, travel, good food and a little wine with many friends. She adored fellow chorister John and kept in touch with him when he left Canada. Know always that Marjorie was loved and will be kept in our collective memory with affection.

Marge was my godmother & I loved her dearly. I'm grateful that I got to visit her every year when we were in Kelowna. I will miss her.
