September 26, 1930 - June 24, 2019

Passed away peacefully on June 24, 2019 at the age of 88. Larry proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 24 years as a Metal Technician. During that time, he was posted and able to travel the world. He went on to work for the Ottawa Housing Authority for 10 years in a variety of positions. Larry loved curling, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and country music.

Predeceased by the love of his life Alice Thelma Ward (nee Williams) (2009) to whom he was married 60 years. Loving father of William Cyril (Billy) (1951), Lawrence Derrick (Cheryl) of Belleville, Steven Robert (Donna) of Ottawa, Sandra Evelyn (2015) (Robert) of Ottawa, and Kelly Lee (Robert Jeffery) of Kelowna. Grandfather of Darren, Stephany, Mark, Paul, Scott, Christopher, Thomas, Erik, and Jason. Great-Grandfather of Nikolas, Owen, Finn, Neva, Jack, Christopher (C.J.), Sammy, and Declan. Predeceased by siblings Thomas (England), Richard (Brockville), Edward (Lindsay), David (Toronto), John (Jack) (Toronto), Helen (Toronto), and Robert (Ottawa).

Interment service to be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer

  Larry and I had such a wonderful relationship at Fernbrae; he was such a gentleman with such a beautiful demeanor and a love of the life he lived. One of my favourite people. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
