    Wilma and family,

I met your Dad when Wilma asked me to sit with him while she went on errands or had appointments. I found him to be a very kind man. I was very impressed by their commitment to each other. I remember when it had been decided that he would go in a home. He said with tears In his eyes, "It's the end of the road". Peter would often tell me how he met Wilma and how he "captured her". I really enjoyed my time with him. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know you have many wonderful memories as he was a wonderful man.

    Thinking of you all,

Dear Wilma and family, I hope the good memories of Peter will help you through this difficult time. Also, I would like to share the following with you.

    Peter:

A light from the family is gone

A voice we loved is stilled.

A place is vacant in our home

    Which never can be filled.

We have to mourn the loss of one

That we would have loved to keep.

But God who surely loves him best

Has called him home to sleep.

    Hugs,

    Yolande and Lothar

Dear Wilma, Linda and Brian, Brian and Tala, Eric and Samantha,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the death of Peter. We could not have asked for better neighbours than Peter and Wilma. When my husband had a terrible accident just before Christmas many years ago, Peter came up faithfully every day (sometimes twice!) to clear the snow for us. It was one of the snowiest winters in many years, but I would come home from the hospital to find the entire drive spotlessly free of snow! Such an incredible act of kindness! Such a wonderful couple!

Sending big hugs to all the family.
