VOLOVSEK, Frank
(January 25, 1923 – June 15, 2012)
Born in Gornji Grad, Slovenia, Frank immigrated to Canada in 1950 and worked as a highly valued machinist on various construction projects. In retirement, he continued to apply his skills to help out his many friends. He greatly enjoyed working in his garden, preserving the produce of his orchard, and singing with the Slovenian Choir. Frank’s warm-hearted and generous presence will be missed by his son Walter of Castlegar, daughter Yasmin of Vancouver, loyal companion Anica of Slovenia, and his numerous friends A Celebration of Life will be held on June 23, 2012, at 1:00 at Hansons’ Arbor Westwood Funeral Chapel, 2541 Churchill Road, West Kelowna.
