VANTASSEL, William

William (Bill) Van Tassel was born on September 12, 1957 in Calgary, Alberta and passed unexpectedly in Vernon, BC on May 24, 2017 at the age of 59 years.
He grew up and did his schooling at Elm Creek, Manitoba and had 2 brothers and 2 step-sisters. Bill travelled extensively and enjoyed a long and successful career as a construction consultant.
Bill will be sadly missed by his many friends, his family and his beloved dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 23, 2017 at 1:00pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

I did some work for Bill throughout the years and every time I saw him he was always full of life and joy and had many great stories of his adventures and travels. His visits will be missed, RIP

Very sad. Bill was one of our new volunteers at the Okanagan Gotlf Club. We will miss his enthusiasm.

Sorry to read this. 59 is far too young. Work for Bill on a few projects at Predator a few years ago. Rest in peace.
