VANSTON, Clark Frederick

Clark Frederick Vanston
December 19, 1934 – May 19, 2017

Our hearts have been broken with the passing of Clark Frederick Vanston on May 19, 2017. He is now at peace, no longer burdened with the illnesses which plagued him for many years.

Clark’s favourite pastimes included camping, fishing, boating and most importantly his family who were the light of his life. He was predeceased by his daughter Laura on March 31, 2016, his brothers; Charles and Eric, his sister Violet and son-in-law Jay Scott. He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 62 years, daughter Deborah Vanston-Scott, son Carl (Shelley), grandchildren; Cari (Terry), Courtney (Patrick), Shaunna (Vince), Tamara (Travis) and Matthew, great-grandsons; Connor, Ronan, Finnley, Huxley, Chase and Jack. He will be forever missed by his family and all the great friends he has known over the years.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the Doctors who cared for Clark over the years.

There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Clark’s memory to the charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear about Clark's passing, Joan. Dick and I will always remember Clark's quiet presence, when we saw him at Royal Bank functions and later when he came into the Hymart. Always a gentleman.
