On September 8, 2017 June S. Urton (nee Strachan) passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Kelowna. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Tom, son TJ and her extended family. As per her wishes there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Services, Kelowna, BC ph:250-762-2299.

    My favorite memory of you will always be your Elvis room. As a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I remember when TJ was born, there were pictures of him everywhere! No cell phones back then, just pictures arriving in our mailbox every week haha! You were such a proud mama and you had the best laugh... I will miss you Aunty xoxo

    I am at a loss for words. Having a friend like June for the past 47 years I feel so blessed to have had her in my life. I will miss her so much but the memories will be with me forever. I hope you both can find comfort in the memories you both hold in your heart. You were both her whole world and I know she will be keeping a close eye out for you both.

    June was such a kind caring person with a big heart and wonderful sense of humor. Her family was her true joy and she loved them dearly. She loved her hockey, shopping, and her "Timmy's" coffee outings. She truly will be missed. RIP June.

    We met June a few years ago when our paths kept crossing at Tim Horton's. She loved her family, her dogs, and of course her Vancouver Canucks! We will miss all the good hockey talk. RIP June now that you are finally free from pain.
