I knew Pat Underhill as the coach of our Dawson Creek Speed Skating Club back in the early 60's. She was an amazing person who contributed so much to getting the club off the ground and seeing to the success of so many skaters. It is always sad to see someone pass away and I am sure this is true for Pat's family. Rest assured we will always regard Pat as a great person who meant so much to everyone in Dawson Creek.

Pat was only a resident in our community for a little over a year but, in that relatively short time, she made a wonderful and deep impression with each and every staff member. I, for one, came to greatly appreciate her feisty nature and her wide-ranging wealth of knowledge and I loved to chat with her about curling and the stock market. I only wish that I had had more time with her! Pat will be sorely missed by all of us here that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pat was a dear friend of Okanagan College and provided an annual award to support the students in the Health Care Assistant program. It was always a highlight to have her come and speak with the class when she presented her award. We will miss her stories and her sunny smile.

Dear Pat, we had many great times together. Playing Bridge, golfing and dinner parties. Reminiscing about the Mrs. Roughneck contest in Dawson Creek.
I will miss you my friend.

Pat you will greatly missed for our chats about the Olympic speed skating, Chinese lunches and your all around class. I know you are now with Jack and having great conversations about what life was about.
