TURKOVICS Frank (Ferenc)
1926 – 2012
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Frank on June 13, 2012 at the age of 85. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 64 years, Mary, his children; Frank (Shelagh) , Rita (Marvin); his grandchildren, Seth, Amy, Emily and Brian and by his many, many friends. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Rosie and beloved granddaughter, Maylysse. Until his illness slowed him down, Frank was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus. In the early 1970’s he was a founding father of the Okanagan Hungarian Society and was also a long-time member of the BC Grape Growers Association as well as the BC Tree Fruits. Frank was a progressive farmer, an astute businessman and a great friend to all who knew him. A Prayer service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, West Kelowna on Monday June 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Messages of condolence to the family may be made by visiting www.hansonsfuneral.com.
