TISCH, Laurence David

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laurence David Tisch on September 19, 2016 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 65.

Larry grew up in Calgary, graduating from S.A.I.T. He married Janice in 1973 and moved to Winnipeg in 1974 and then to the Okanagan in July of 1989. Larry was an electrical engineer for over 40 years, working at CHBC until he retired in 2008.

He enjoyed golfing and the outdoors. He liked to read and loved his computers. Larry will be sadly missed by his Wife Janice, Daughters Lauren and Lindsay, Parents Peter and Alice and his Sister Teresa Avramenko.

    I remember when living in Alberta and Teresa telling me about her family in the Okanagan; then when I moved out here, I ended up working with Larry. He was such a nice guy. My deepest condolences to you all.
