Malcolm Murray Thompson
1939 - 2010

On Thursday, March 11, 2010, Murray, at the age of seventy, passed peacefully in his sleep. As a husband, father and friend he was a mentor, filled with wisdom and encouragement. Many will remember him for his sense of humor and the ability to laugh at life's many challenges. The recent years, Murray worked for Kami Cabs (for 15 years) until retirement, where he enjoyed spending time with his wife Irene Gladue. Murray loved to learn the Internet. He also liked doing jig-saw puzzles and playing poker tournaments on-line. He embraced life; and so, as we mourn our loss, we celebrate his life and wish him well as he undertakes a new adventure.

Murray will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne Thompson and Moira Vanbuskirk; daughter, Tracy Hayes; son, Duane Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Duane Ferguson; son, Rick Wilhelm; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya Thompson and Jody Lillies; son, Chris Thompson; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Gary Thompson, Father Melvin Thompson and Mother Beatrice Thacker.

Arrangements are entrusted to Kamloops Funeral Home.
