Obituaries

We are saddened by the loss of our beloved Mother, Maria Tangaro, on April 19th, 2014 at the age of 85 years, at Sutherland Hills Rest Home. After 54 years of marriage, her heart was broken when her husband, Francesco, pre-deceased her less than four months ago. They are now re-united for eternity.

Maria is survived by her four children and seven grandchildren: Serafina (John) Guarini and their sons Francesco, Angelo and Pietro; Salvatore (Claudette) and their daughters Katrina and Kaitlyn; Giovanni and his children Tony and Christina, and son Giuseppe.

Prayers will be recited on Thursday, April 24th at 7:30 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Avenue. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 25th at 1:00 pm with Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2.
