SWINDEN, Ruth

Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the age of 81.

She is survived by her loving family: sons Trevor (Carol) of Cape Traverse, PEI, Lorne (Diana) of Mission, BC, Wayne (Lynette) of Clearbrook, BC, Mark (Dierdrea) of Spruce Grove, AB; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband John, brother Edgar and her parents William and Beryl.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 300 – 1090 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC, V6E 2N7.
