A special thank you to all those family and friends who attended our mother's "Celebration of Life" Service on January 18th. It was so nice to see everyone again. Mom would have been so proud that all the people that loved her would come together to celebrate the special woman she was. Mom was a wonderful woman with a kind heart. She had struggles in her life that would have caused many to become bitter and angry but instead she became more and more focused over the years in trying to make people feel loved. There is no promise in life that says we will not be faced with challenges....some of these challenges may feel so difficult to overcome. Mom was a special person that was not perfect but found her own special way to make every day as perfect as it could be by trying to treat those around her with kindness.

All eight of her children have special moments that we will cherish. There are also an abundance of moments cherished by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will think of you often Mom. Your loss is heartfelt. We know how you wanted to be together with Dad again and we know that you will find an eternal peace knowing the love we have for you will never die.

So sorry to hear of Eva's death. She was my Step Aunt and I have so many wonderful memories of her growing up. She even spent time with my family at our house when she would visit Kelowna from Saskatoon. I know that family was very important to her but now she will be forever with Paul. Sending love to you all.
