STRASSER, Blanche Carlotta

Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving family, two daughters: Catherine McTeer of Trail, Christine McTeer of Calgary; six sons: John McTeer (Irena) of Kelwona, Alan McTeer of Kelowna, Patrick (Ethel) of Rossland, Gordon (Teresa) of Rossland, David McTeer of Trail, Donald McTeer (Joanne) of Rossland; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers: Charlie McIntyre (Josephine) of San Diego, Jack McIntyre (Hilda) of Vancouver; two sisters: Patricia Hanlon of Kelowna, Sister Clotilda McIntyre of Lethbridge and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Archie McTeer and second husband Ludwig Strasser. Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at 7:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 3rd at 1:00 pm at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1633 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1P6.
