Pamela Lillian Sorensen (nee Slade)

Pamela Sorensen passed away on October 24, 2018 in West Kelowna, BC at the age of 83 years.

Pamela was born in London, England and came to Canada in 1957. She met and married her husband, Flemming in 1961, and they lived in Tsawwassen until retirement in 1993, when they moved to the Okanagan. Over the years, she and Flemming enjoyed many travels together

  I was very saddened and shocked by the passing of my dear sister Pam, who I had visited many times in both Vancouver and Kelowna since she emigrated from the UK. We had some wonderful times during these visits and I was particularly upset at not being present during her final days or at the family gathering, due to the journey involved (from North Devon, England) and the short time between her passing and the family gathering. I'm sure I speak for Pam's other brothers (Gordon now deceased ) and Paul my twin and her many nephews,nieces and other family members in Vancouver and England, who I know share my memories of a fun loving and caring lady, and a great sister who I was very very close to and proud to have known. My sincere condolences go to her husband Flemming and her other close family.

  We are saddened that Pam has left us. We have many fond memories of fun times during the 60's to 80's in Tsawwassen, where Pam & Flemming always welcomed us
  
  to their home parties. Our hearts go out to Flemming & their son's Paul, Richards & Robert.
