SOLAR, Mary - Passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the age of 91 years.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Alexander on April 2, 2008. She leaves behind numerous extended family members.

A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, September 19th at 6:00 pm from Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. A Funeral of Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, September 20th at 10:00 am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, 1091 Coronation Avenue, Kelowna, BC with The Very Rev. Andriy Werbowy officiating. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation – Breast Cancer, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1T2.
