Everton, Lindsay, Norm (Pops) and Maureen,

We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We met Mike through hockey as so many people did and will always remember his love of hockey, his kids (Everton and Lindsay plus all the players he coached) and the joy he had for it all. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Burt, Kim, Blake and Ryan Potter.

    Everton & Family,

I got to know Mike through Minor Hockey when he coached with his dad Norm for many years. He was a dedicated positive coach for the youth and always stepped up to volunteer. I enjoyed our conversations at my office or running into him at the neighborhood pub to catch up after minor hockey was done for both of us. He wouldn't hesitate to stop at the side of the road when I was walking my dog to catch up on each other lives. He truly will be missed. May you rest in piece Mike.

Sending much love to his family right now.

    Regards,

    Kim Schultz

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I got to know him while working at the Mt. Boucherie rink and he always made time to chat with me about hockey and family and a few jokes! He is gone too young as we are the same age.

The rink won't be the same without people like Mike being there enjoying themselves and bringing a positive vibe to the ice.

Maureen, Norman, Everton and Lindsey.. my sincere condolences... Once in a while we're fortunate enough to meet a caring person like Mike. I was privileged to have been one. Mike was a friend, employee and often the target of my jokes. I'm going to miss going for salads on Thursdays with you bud.
