SMITH, WAVA (WINNIFRED) Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family on July 5th at the age of 73. Wava is survived by 2 daughters: Cindy (Bill), Tracey (Mark) and 2 sons: Darren, Darrell (Lorraine); grandchildren: Gordon, Kathleen, Sherry, Wes, Cole, Tyler, Austin, Jessica, Trevor, Brittny and Jason(Sara). Also Wava’s 2 brothers, Earl (Sandra), Brian (Anne), Cousins Wain and Dorothy Kerr. Wava was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years Gordon Smith, daughter Teresa Ferster, parents Lewis and Mary Osterberg. A celebration of life was held on Sunday July 10th at 3:00 p.m. from The Peachland United Church with Reverend Elaine Diggle officiating. Family and friends are invited back to Tracey’s home at 3367 McMillan Road, Westbank, B.C.
