SHOWALTER, Manley Allen - Passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the age of 74.

Survived by his loving wife Jo Showalter of 52 years, daughter Patricia Davies of Kelowna, BC, sons: Ralph (Liz) of Victoria, BC, Clarence (Sandy) of St. Catharines, ON, Ken (Angelina) of Courtice, ON; seven grandchildren, sister Hazel Pietla of Pemberton, BC. Sadly predeceased by his father Ralph Allen; his mother Henrietta, sister Arlie, brothers Ralph, Leonard, Clarence, son-in-law Bill Davies.

Always an adventurer, Manley was a career bush pilot in northern Ontario and the Northwest Territories including work with the NRHQ military. His favorite pass time was fishing including work as a professional guide. He spent many hours in service and as a friend of Bill W. A true friend and a wonderful father and husband; he will be dearly missed.

A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 21,2010 at 7:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
