I am so sorry and sad to see Desi's face pop up in the obituaries. A few years ago I started to frequent a particular Tim Horton's around the same time of night that he was always there and he was always eager to say hi to a familiar face. I will definitely miss bumping into him and our small talk, and I cannot imagine TH without him. Deepest condolences to the family. <3

Our condolences to all the children and family that he loved. Desi worked in many of our buildings over the years in construction. Always a smiling guy. We were happy that he had graduated to the golf course and sorry that those years were cut short.

To the Shea family, our family is sorry to hear of the loss of your father. We have known Desi for fifty years, that means putting up with the Toronto Maple leafs, thank god his other team Kelowna Rockets gave him some reason to cheer. Your father was special in so many ways and will be missed.

Always nice to chat with Desi during breaks from work around the yard. What a super guy- laid back and always smiling. He always had kind words and was a wonderful neighbour to have. I'll miss him lots.
