Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Survived by her loving family: two sons, Brian (Karin) and Darrell all of Kelowna; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one sister Lillian Schinkel (Jack) of Chilliwack. Sadly predeceased by her husband Robert. Marian was a resident of Kelowna since 1965 and an employee at the Mac and Fitz packing house for 17 years. Besides raising two boys, she was active in her church and did many forms of handiwork and craft projects in her spare time. After retiring she enjoyed travelling with her husband and friends. Marian will be remembered for her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ and her gentle spirit which touched all that knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Ridgeview Evangelical Church, 1097 Hollywood Road, Kelowna, BC with Pastor Elmer Fehr and Pastor Darren Duncalfe officiating.
