SCHLIEF, Gunter Walter - Passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Kelowna, at the age of 76 years.

Gunter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna Schlief, his children Anni, Heinz, Reinhard, Horst, Raymond; his grandchildren Dallas, Albert, Kyle, Travis, Scott, Shannon, Bryce, Koen, Brook; and great grandchild Dalamar. He is survived by his siblings, Horst Schlief, Gerda Zelmer, and Helga Kutchner.

One of eight children Gunter was predeceased by siblings; Fritz, Kurt, Siegfried, and Renate Kleistner.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday July 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road. Cremation to follow.
