Obituaries

A proud Canadian, Gerd was happily planning his next adventure when his heart packed it in February 20, 2017 just after his 74th birthday. He will be dearly missed by his many friends and extended family, survived by his love, Barbara Fricke.

Gerd was always willing to help out. A superb draftsman, he enjoyed working with his hands and had the ability to listen without being judgemental. Gerd was a collector of trains, coins, stamps, licence plates and most of all very good friends.

A celebration of life will be held in June.

  I am so sorry to hear of Gerd's passing. I have known him since 1972 and he always stopped in at the office to say hello when in Canada. He will be missed.
