ROUTLEY, Rita May
September 21, 1933 – July 2, 2009

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife and Mom on Thursday, July 2, 2009.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband Lloyd Routley, her daughter, Pamela Brooks, her sister Gwynnyth Pecenka, and nephew and nieces. Rita was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Becker and her son-in-law, James Patrick Brooks.

Rita’s family and friends were everything to her. She was a loving, positive person who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed painting, gardening, skiing, sewing, traveling and being active outdoors. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Brian Martin, the Cancer Centre, the community nurses and Hospice House for their loving care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation, 399 Royal Ave. Kelowna, BC V1Y 5L3.

Honoring her request, there will be a private family remembrance.
