ROBSON, Laura June

ROBSON, Laura June

June Robson passed away May 29, 2017 in Kelowna BC. Predeceased by her husband, John, in 2015, June will be lovingly remembered by her children Kevin (Roni) Seeley, Craig Seeley, Colleen (Rick) Tillapaugh, grandchildren Jason, Amanda, Karlina, Kara, Kelsey, Ava and Brynn and 4 great-grandchildren (the most recent born on May 21). She also leaves behind her siblings Laurettta Charlton, John, Terry and Allen Euper as well as many extended family and friends who will also miss her dearly, including Pat Wood, her best friend for 50 years.

Born May 1, 1945 in Vancouver to Jack and Dorothy Euper, June spent most of her childhood in Vancouver and Bellingham, WA. She lived for many years on Quadra Island and in Campbell River where they raised the kids and then headed for the sunny Okanagan when John retired in 2000. She and John loved exploring the area where they enjoyed the warmth of the weather and the friends that they met there. June continued to work and enjoyed brightening the days of many others during her time at Capri Insurance in West Kelowna.

June was active in the local quilting clubs and thoroughly enjoyed the many hours she spent making beautiful treasures for various charities. She and John also liked to travel, particularly to the warm climates in Hawaii and Arizona. Most of all, June loved spending time with her family and friends. Her infectious smile and warm welcome brightened the lives of those she touched and she truly was the glue who brought the family together.

Support from friends, family and faith gave June the strength needed in her courageous battle with cancer. While saddened by our loss, we are glad to know she is Home and reunited with Dad. A celebration of June

I also worked with June at Capri, she was a nice, caring woman, told me lots of interesting stories, she had quite a life! After she retired many of her favourite clients were quite disappointed she had left & weren't sure if we could take care of them as well as she could! She knew this & was quite happy to pass the torch on to us! She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt & good friend to Sally, she will be missed by everyone that knew her. Sincerely Mary Lynne & Paul.

I met June at Capri Ins. where we both worked. She taught me the ICBC portion the best teacher I could have had. My first day working with her she had bragging photos of her twin granddaughters Ava and Brynn who were born that day. I knew then she was a special lady at that point because this lady was over the moon excited. John used to come and pick her up at lunch everyday just a really in love couple, she looked forward to lunch with him. A very talented quilter, OMG all of her work was BEAUTIFUL. After I left Capri Ins. We stayed friends, what an honour to have her as a friend. I loved her Dearly and will miss my Juneymoon ALOT. Her family was everything to her, she spoke proudly of all of her family. Forever with John now.
