Obituaries

Passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the age of 78. He was born in Leutschach, Austria. Survived by his loving wife Helga, son Ralph, daughter Rose of Kelowna, brothers Rudy (Renate) Ontario, Franz (Grete); sister Anna and Maria of Austria; nieces and nephews; stepchildren Heinz (Johanna), Rainer (Petra), Sissy (Ronald) of Austria. Hermann will always be remembered for his generous hospitality, kindness and readiness to help. A special thank you to Kelowna General Hospital, Central Okanagan Hospice House and Dr. Alexander Thompson for their wonderful care of Hermann and our family. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer Society of BC, Suite 307-1664 Richter Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 8N3.
