Obituaries

Mary passed away suddenly on November 1, 2013 with her husband by her side. Mary was born in Spokane, Washington on May 30, 1929. She grew up on a farm in Edwall just outside of Spokane where she raised her children, Paul and Wanda. Mary met John Robertson in 1976, and they soon married, moving to Cranbrook, BC. Later they retired in West Kelowna. They enjoyed each other's company immensely. Mary is survived by her loving husband John, her son, Paul Titchenal, and daughter, Wanda Titchenal (Wiley), seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was an only child and it was her greatest joy to think of the family that grew from her. Mary was also the step mother to John's children, Judy Robertson (Peter Lincoln), Jo-Anne (Neil) Bonnier, John Robertson Jr., Royce (Sherrill) Robertson, and Russell Robertson. Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Village at Smith Creek and Kelowna General Hospital for their care and support. Mary enjoyed her time there. A small memorial was held on Tuesday, November 6, 2013 Village at Smith Creek.
