RIEGER, Casper

RIEGER, Casper - Passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family on December 23rd, 2009 at the age of 88.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Jean whom together have been married for 62 years, their sons; Bill (Laurie) Rieger, Don (Pat) Rieger, daughter Lynn Rieger. Casper was a devoted Grandfather to 4 cherished granddaughters; Tammy Jackson, Jennifer Wood, Cara Rieger, Bobbi Rieger, 2 beloved great grandsons; Calvin Jackson and Cody Wood.

Casper was a veteran and identified himself as a proud member. For much of his working life Casper was a City of Kelowna heavy equipment operator. Casper was an inspiration to all his family, he demonstrated hard work ethic, was a devoted Father and family man, and was a lover of life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road with Rev. Gordon Fletcher officiating.
