REYNOLDS, John William

John William Reynolds passed away on March 30, 2017 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 98.
John was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan on October 7, 1918. He came west during the depression to Burnaby, BC where he met Phyllis, who became his wife. They were married on Christmas Eve, 1940. They soon moved to Port Alice, where their children were born. The family moved to Kelowna (Rutland) in 1953, and John went to work as custodian/maintenance at the Seventh Day Adventist Academy (old & new). He retired at age 60 and enjoyed years of travelling.
Throughout his life, John had a passion for woodworking, and spent many, many happy hours tinkering in his shop. He also enjoyed walking

Larry and Shirley, we are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing-Wow! A life definitely well lived at the ripe old age of 98 years!!! You will surely miss him at different times in the coming year! Feel sorry we couldn't make it home on time for the service - We hear it was a lovely service and Larry- you did an awesome job of the tribute!

Larry, Louise, Shirley and family,

Uncle John led a long and interesting life. So glad I got to see him in the last few years, he never changed. Always the gentleman. He'll be happy back with Auntie Phyll at this time. Thank you for all you did for him over the years, I know he appreciated it.

Sincere sympathy to all your family on John's passing! We enjoyed spending time with him over the years and we're very happy to have shared Christmas with him last year. He had a great smile and sense of humour, Love the Foxes.
