RESCH, John

Passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 87. Survived by his loving wife Gerry of 62 years; daughter Colette Hauser (Glenn) of Pilger, SK; son Morris Resch (Helen) of Regina, SK; eight grandchildren: Dawn, Rachel, Suzanne, Katelyn, Simon, Kurt, David and Sierra; one great grandchild Teagan; three sisters; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Nel and brother Ronald. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at the Ethel Glen Unit at Cottonwoods. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29th at 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1077 Fuller Avenue, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cottonwoods Extended Care, 2255 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z9. So sorry for your loss. I worked with John at Weldwood and he was an amazing man. I was the only female there so he tended to look after me as if I was one of his daughters. Very fond memories of John. God decided he needed another angel so he choose John. God's blessings to you all.
