RENNIE, Robert (Bob)

RENNIE, Robert (Bob)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful father Robert(Bob)Rennie on Nov 2 2017.
Bob moved to Kelowna in 1972 with his then wife Dorothy and his five children Cheryl Rennie, Brenda Masson, Shannon Peters,Bob Rennie Jr. and Heather Polak.
Bob was a partner in Barval installations then became co-owner of Kelowna Lite Cast.
He enjoyed all kinds of sports but especially loved spending his days golfing with his many friends.
His kind, gentle, and humorous personality will also be missed by his 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and the many others who's' lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association. Thank you to all the staff at the Kelowna Hospice House provided such kind and compassionate care in his final few months.

A memorial for Robert will be held at a later date.

Sincere condolences to the Rennie family. My first memories of Mr. Rennie take me back to 1975 where his company sponsored us in Kelowna Minor Football's inaugural season. Even though his son Bob played on another team, Mr Rennie always came to watch the Barval Bombers play on Sunday mornings.

    RIP Mr. Rennie.

Bob was one of the most kind, caring and gentle person we came to know. He took great pride in his work, being a true craftsman with a paint brush, trowel or hammer. He was a regular visitor to our home these past 10 years, always loving Karin's "sweets" and coffee. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

To the Rennie family, my sincere condolences for your loss. He did a super job on all the stucco work on my building projects. Lots of good social memories and everyone enjoyed his "cool" sense of humor.
