Obituaries

In Loving memory of Darlene, 77 years-old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Kelowna General Hospital after a valiant fight with complications from pneumonia. Her strong will to live, and the love and prayers of family, friends and many supporters helped carry her through to Glory.

Darlene was born on July 1, 1940 in Regina Saskatchewan. She was the daughter of Harold and Edna Meeds. Darlene (nickname - spitfire) was a very independent, strong person with a big heart.
She was an excellent seamstress and a great baker and cook. She really enjoyed watching the Cooking Channel.

At the age of 19, she married her husband Derek Radstaak in Vancouver, BC and they were married for 58 years. They raised their 3 children (Debbie, Laura and Colleen) over the years in the lower mainland, B.C. and finally moved to West Kelowna in 2007.

Her surviving family members are numerous, but mainly include:
Husband Derek
Daughters, Debbie (Gibson), Laura (Osborne), Colleen (Fisher)
8 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
