QUAEDVLIEG, Barry Alan

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our father Barry Alan Quaedvlieg at the age of 55 years, of Kelowna, on November 7th, 2018. He died peacefully in his home and has gone to be with the Lord.

He was born in Nakusp, BC, on May 18, 1963 and grew up with his family in Robson, BC. He is survived by his children Constance and John Quaedvlieg as well as his siblings; Therese, Anne, Linda, Mitch, Mike, Rudi and Shawn and will be forever remembered by his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC on Friday January 11th, 2019 at 10:30am with a small lunch reception to follow. Cremation has taken place, and his remains will be interred at the Cemetery in Keremeos, BC.

In lieu of cards and flowers, his children ask that you please kindly consider a donation to help ease the unexpected burden brought on by the death of their young father. Please feel free to contact Constance at [email protected] for more information.

Surprised and saddened to hear about Barry. Not only was he a good listener, but he loved to talk. We passed many hours talking on many subjects. We will miss him and keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

I came to know Barry at the Pastoral Centre as a volunteer. He had a good heart, and was hugely generous. Many beyond the Okanagan will miss him. Rest from your labours, Barry.
