PROTO (NEE MCARTHUR), Jean Isabel

Jean died peacefully in West Kelowna on October 6, 2018.

Jean is survived by her husband Frank, son Michael of Calgary, daughter Karen Kroeker and four grandchildren Brady, Noah, Jaxon and Sophia all in West Kelowna, brothers Donald (Susan) of Regina and Douglas (Vancouver) sister Moira Whitehouse (Larry) of Fort Worth, TX., nephews Ian, Neil, Nathan, Joshua and niece Kera. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Neil and Marjorie McArthur.

Jean was born in 1941 in Watrous, Saskatchewan. She received her RN at Regina General Hospital and her Public Health degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Jean worked in Public Health Nursing in Regina, Saskatoon and Toronto. She married Frank in 1966. Jean and Frank spent most of their life in Edmonton and Regina moving to West Kelowna in 2013 to be close to the grandchildren she adored.

Jean was a very generous person always concerned about the welfare of others. Her interests covered a broad range from music, children

I didn't know you well Jean but you always made me smile when I saw you out and about with your poles exercising. I am glad to have seen you and had a brief word last week. I will miss you and your smile.
