John and family, we were so saddened to hear of Liz's sudden passing. Over the last decade that we have known Liz, we have grown to lover her like a favourite aunt. We were always amazed by her zest for life, smile, laughter and sense of adventure! We enjoyed many days at the camper with you both in Koocanusa and most recently exploring Puerto Vallarta with you. We know John that you will miss her terribly, our thought and prayers are with you at this time.

    Dear John and family,

It is with a heavy heart that we join in the mourning of your dear Liz. Her strong faith in our Lord Jesus will live on forever. Besides her love of the Lord her next passion was for you John and her family and friends. We will fondly remember our times of cards, scrabble and other games. Even in her later years of failing eyesight, her magnifying glass became a good friend. She never gave up on life or her faith or her friends.

Your Liz was also a very elegant dresser. What a beautiful lady inside and out, we will truly miss her. May God wrap his loving arms around you John, your children and grandchildren at this very difficult time. We share in your sorrow and we know that she is now smiling in the light of the Lord.

    Your good friends,

Dave and Joan Pittman - Lethbridge

It is hard to believe that it has been more than 50 years since that marriage in Summerside but the fact it has been that long is a blessing in itself. You had many wonderful years together and we hope the memories will carry you through this difficult time.
